Film Screening: “Crip Camp: A Disability Revolution”

Join the Green Party of Utah on May 31st  for its spring meeting and film screening of “Crip Camp”, a documentary that follows the story of Camp Jened, a summer camp for teenagers with disabilities, and the disability rights movement it helped to ignite.

The Green Party of Utah Presents a film screening of Crip Camp

The film explores how Camp Jened provided a space for young people with disabilities to experience community, independence, and a sense of belonging, which ultimately led to their activism for disability rights. 

Following the film screening a moderated panel will address  the struggles of the disability rights movement and ways that communities can advocate for continuing progress for the rights of people with disabilities.
