It’s a Wrap! Convention Day Success; Voting has Begun

Convention Day was a success, despite the rainy and cold weather.The technology worked well for the hybrid event, the presidential candidates were all able to join remotely. Thank you to everyone who contributed to the organization of the convention! #VoteGreen #greenpartyutahVoting has begun!

Ballots for the GPUT Presidential Preferential Election and Party Positions have been sent to those who registered to vote in the elections. If you are a registered Green and want to have a voice, register now to vote by May 5! Voting ends at 11:59pm May 9.

Green Party Presidential Candidate Events in January You Won’t Want to Miss!

Two events are scheduled featuring candidates seeking the Green Party of the United States nomination for President. The events are described below with information on how to access the live streams/recordings. Even though they are being hosted by other states, these are the same candidates all our state Green Parties will be considering.

The Green Party of Utah is encouraging all Utahns to view these events to learn about the candidates. The GPUT will hold a convention this spring to determine which candidate will have Utah’s vote at the

national nominating convention.

Welcome our impressive presidential candidates for the Green Party at our Meet and Greet in Worcester this Saturday, January 20 at 11am mountain. Candidates will appear in person and zoom. The event will be live-streamed. Learn more at this

All are welcome to this event. This year the Democratic and Republican Parties are mounting candidates who cannot meet the needs of People, Planet, and Peace. Everyone is needed to give our Green alternative a fighting chance.

This month is featuring Green Party of United States Presidential Candidate from North Carolina, Jasmine Sherman, from Florida, Randy Toler, from New York, Davi (DaShaun Davis), and from California, Jorge Zavala. Jill Stein has not yet confirmed if she will be in attendance. We are hopeful.
